In recognition of America's 250th anniversary, Lowe's Market launched Raised on Local, a seven-week social media campaign celebrating the people, traditions, and hometown pride that make each community unique.
Rather than centering the campaign around products or promotions, Lowe's chose to tell the stories of local heroes, family traditions, and recipes that bring people together. The campaign reinforced Lowe's identity as more than a grocery store—it is a trusted part of the communities it serves.

Community Spotlights
Customers nominated individuals who make a positive impact in their communities—from veterans and educators to nonprofit leaders, first responders, volunteers, and local advocates. Nineteen honorees out of 101 submissions were selected and featured throughout the campaign.
Raised on Local Flavors
Recipe videos highlighted the foods and family traditions that define life across Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and beyond. Each recipe invited customers to share memories, traditions, and opinions, creating conversations that extended well beyond the original post. Together, these content pillars celebrated the values that unite Lowe's communities: family, service, tradition, and local pride.
