Graphic Designer

We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join our team in a hybrid role, primarily supporting our existing design staff. This position is ideal for a highly organized, collaborative, and motivated individual with a strong design foundation, who thrives in a team-oriented environment while being capable of working independently. This is a full-time position with a flexible, hybrid schedule. Must be able to work Monday – Friday 8am - 5pm. Compensation ranges from $35,000 to $45,000, with numerous benefits and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Design Team

  • Act as a backup designer for key accounts.

  • Take ownership of existing accounts and provide support to social media managers, creative director, and clients.

  • Develop high-quality, production-ready designs for digital platforms, social media, and print materials.

Design and Production:

  • Create engaging content for grocery-focused clients, including weekly price and item advertisements.

  • Produce a high volume of designs efficiently while maintaining aesthetic quality and adhering to brand standards.

Independent Work:

  • Lead and manage projects for select clients, taking full ownership from conception to completion.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify and propose ways to simplify workflows and improve team productivity and efficiency.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Engage in both client and internal meetings, often representing the design team.

  • Collaborate across departments and roles to ensure seamless execution of projects.

Key Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in a professional or agency setting preferred but not required.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).

  • Bonus: Familiarity with After Effects, Premiere Pro, Canva, Figma, or other design tools.

  • A plus: Knowledge of animation, illustration, photography, video, and web design fundamentals.

Design Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, hierarchy, and visual storytelling.

  • Ability to articulate design decisions and present work clearly.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.

  • Curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to overdeliver.

Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 annually.
